Workshop:
Participants will be provided with scraps of fabric, threads and needles and taught the basics of darning. Once this has been covered we will go on to explore different patterns that can be achieved as. Finally, we will discuss how we can go about machine darning. Although as an artist, I tend to use darning decoratively, it is a very practical skill and I will be happy to answer any other questions you might have about mending clothes and discussing other textile techniques.
